| I really enjoy watching this particular news/interview program. The Charlie Rose Show is a long, calm, deeply probing conversation with a wealth of interesting people regarding interesting events. A few of the guests I watched were: Gary Gasparov (I expected a weird old guy, but he's rather goodlooking), Rupert Murdock, Larry Summers, and so on.
Charlie Rose brings on a mix of guests to cover a broad range of topics, not just politics, but medicine, education and science. They form an interesting round table where they discuss issues like civil adults, without foaming at the mouth. It's refreshing.
This show is (as of this writing) available on Google Video and it's free! Yes, free.
On average the shows are a solid 58 minutes of commercial free time: there is a sponsered ad blurb at the beginning and a link on screen. Maximizing the image removes all the superfluous browser text.
I watch it in Internet Explorer mostly, sometimes in Firefox. The quality of the video is excellent and expands with the browser. The next nice feature is the side menu where the next clip is shown automatically; shows can be rated.
There is an additional option of seeing the show in High Definition for $.99. Definitely a bargain!
